The List is almost Ready in Islamabad | Who Robbed Pakistan?

Pakistan’s power corridors, is once again abuzz with whispers  but this time the Runours are louder  sharper and more specific. According to emerging reports a massive corruption scandal involving over Rs. 2,000 billion has begun to unravel, pointing fingers not just at politicians but also at parliamentarians, bureaucrats, and contractors.

Sources suggest that comprehensive lists have already been prepared, identifying both high profile and lesser known individuals allegedly involved in financial misconduct What makes this development different from past efforts is the assertion that this time accountability will not be selective There are strong claims that even senior bureaucrats often seen as untouchable will be under the microscope.

Pakistan has witnessed several accountability drives in the past often criticized for being politically motivated or selectively applied. However if this current wave lives up to its promise of impartiality  it could mark a turning point in the country’s fight against corruption.

The billionrupee question now is Who will be held accountable and who will escape the net once again?

This fresh wave of investigations could potentially shake the foundations of entrenched power structures. But public skepticism remains high  and rightly so. After all Pakistanis have seen similar headlines before, only to watch them fade away into silence compromise or political bargaining.

  1. If the state is truly serious this time we may witness an unprecedented shift in governance and accountability culture Until then all eyes remain fixed on Islamabad  waiting, watching, and hoping that justice won’t just be a sloganbut a reality.
