The world has turned human blood into a property file and Gaza is now the hottest real estate deal in the world
In Pakistan we know how land mafias work A housing scheme is announced old villages are demolished farmers are pushed out and suddenly the same land becomes a golden investment opportunity billboard show wide roads glass towers Nobody remembers the broken homes the crying families or the graves under the bulldozers
Now look at Gaza According to BBC Israel’s finance minister Bezalel Smotrich stood in Tel Aviv and called Gaza the best real estate He openly said the war has completed the “demolition process” and now it’s time to rebuild and market the land. He even mentioned that a business plan is already on Donald Trump’s desk
He would have described the smell of burnt bodies mixing with the dust of broken homes
Now the question is will President Donald Trump accept this glittering offer or will he reject it
The world must watch closely because if Gaza is sold as just another real estate project its effects will not stop at Palestine The Arab world the Middle East and even beyond will feel the shockwaves Or perhaps history will record it as nothing more than a missed investment opportunity
When graves become plots and refugees become files the deal is never about land it is about the death of conscience
