On Sunday night Metro One News anchor Imtiaz Mir was shot near Malir Kala Board Some Criminals Fired and then escaped Mir was hit in the chest and face and is in serious condition
Police reached the spot collected two bullet shells and the car and said they are checking CCTV cameras But people of Karachi have seen this many times before the investigation begins promises are made but the fear remains
The shocking part is that the Karachi Police Chief says crime has fallen by 32% But on the streets people feel the opposite Traders complain of extortion citizens live in fear police are being killed and now journalists are also unsafe
This is today’s Karachi a city where life is always under threat and where numbers say crime is less but every day someone new becomes a victim
