Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Honourable Justice Yahya Afridi has called an important meeting on August 12, bringing together law officers The aim of this session is to set practical measures for making the investigation process more transparent, swift, and effective.
According to Prosecutor General Sindh Syed Muntazir Mehdi the meeting will introduce the Police station Record Management System (PSRMS) a digital platform that will allow all relevant law officers to access investigation records instantly This move is expected to not only speed up inquiries but also improve transparency and significantly increase conviction rates.
The meeting will also address mechanisms to ensure accountability if any investigating officer deliberately acts against the law engages in negligenceor commits misconduct they will face questioning and appropriate disciplinary action
