Senior Journalist Mubasher Lucman has released a new video on his social media in which he claims that efforts are being made by Top media personality to help real estate tycoon Malik Riaz escape accountability However, according to Lucman, those efforts have been rejected by the relevant authorities
In his statement, Lucman alleged that “some of our friends in the media, who are close to Malik Riaz are trying to get the matter buried but his sources confirm that the answer they received was a clear “no”
He further stated that the net is tightening around not just Bahria Town and Malik Riaz, but also all those individuals “who have looted the country” and engaged in alleged money laundering.
“Those who used to manipulate the system will no longer have a place to hide” Lucman said in the video.
Bahria Town has been under scrutiny for various legal and financial issues for several years. Malik Riaz is currently residing in Spain, reportedly using a recently obtained passport that allows him to stay there without a visa. Lucman suggested that this could be an attempt to avoid legal proceedings back home.
As of now, Malik Riaz and Bahria Town have not issued any official response to these claims.
