In Karachi’s GulshaneIqbal residents of Gulshan Mehmood Society say they are living in fear after a violent incident linked to illegal parking around the Sunday Bazaar more then mob of 50 persons attacked on thier house
According to Victim Mr Qaiser Mehmood vehicles are routinely parked outside their homes blocking entrances and causing severe traffic jams When a security guard attempted to stop the parking more than 50 people allegedly attacked the houses CCTV footage reportedly shows the group trying to break into a home while residents locked themselves inside in fear
The affected families are calling on the Sindh Inspector General of Police, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab and the Deputy Commissioner East to take urgent action against the parking mafia and hold the Sunday Bazaar administration accountable.
Residents say the illegal parking has effectively trapped the neighbourhood and without enforcement such incidents will continue They Need Help !
