In a joint move to improve the province’s justice and investigation system, the Sindh Cabinet and the Apex Committee have approved the application recruitment of 400 new prosecutors.
Prosecutor General Sindh, Muntazir Mehdi welcomed the decision and stated that We are playing our role to improve investigations and judicial proceedings. Strengthening the prosecution system is essential for timely and fair justice in Sindh.
Currently, more than 400 prosecutors are serving across Sindh. However, the rising number of complex cases and increasing pressure on courts have prompted the provincial leadership to expand its prosecutorial capacity

The decision was made during recent high-level meetings involving both the Sindh Cabinet and the Apex Committee The joint approval reflects the importance placed on justice reform as a matter of governance and internal security
Recruitment will begin soon, with a strong emphasis on merit, capability, and legal expertise. Legal experts have praised the move, calling it a much needed intervention to strengthen rule of law and restore public trust in the justice system
