Karachi : Concerns have been raised over security at Karachi’s Jinnah Hospital after a theft incident inside its emergency ward
A few days ago a man injured in a road accident was brought to the hospital in critical condition While in the emergency ward he was approached by someone claiming to be a hospital staff member inside emergency Ward The man took the patient’s mobile phone and disappeared.
Later the patient’s family managed to trace the suspect and call the police a FIR has been registered against him at Saddar Police Station.
The incident has sparked serious questions about how such crimes can happen inside a hospital’s emergency ward a place where patients are at their most vulnerable.
Citizens are now demanding strict security checks and better management to ensure that thieves cannot freely enter or operate in such sensitive areas
